I’ve launched a new blog and calligraphy website called Calligraphy For Weddings. Please visit, subscribe to my feed there and browse many more calligraphy examples.
Luxury letterpress invites with calligraphy
These letterpress wedding invitations were sent to me for calligraphy.

The quality of the card was as beautiful as it always is with letterpress. My customer asked for lettering in a deep blue to complement the wedding invitations, which were made by Cardlab.
Rustic wedding place card calligraphy
I love these: our little khadi paper place cards look gorgeous on wedding tables and they’re a real pleasure to write.

The calligraphy is handwritten in red gouache ink onto the textured surface of the place cards.
Wedding invitation calligraphy
Just a quick calligraphy blog post for today: these are Jacquie’s wedding invitations.

They are a gorgeous letterpress design by Cardlab. I added guest names (here ‘Mark and Emma’) in copperplate script in black ink.
Bespoke handwritten menus
This was a really special calligraphy commission for Jessica and Jamie’s engagement party.
Jessica asked me for two handwritten drinks menus on high quality card, in blue copperplate script. I’d previously written her engagement party invitations in the same style.

I created a video and uploaded it to YouTube showing the pieces in more detail and I described the processes and materials – so any interested calligraphers please watch this:
