Not every calligraphy commission is a long poem or a large batch of wedding stationery. This little mount for a picture frame was part of a wedding gift, and was written with a simple quote in classic italic calligraphy.
The quote for calligraphy was:
‘I’ve found the one…
…whom my soul loves’
Song of Solomon 3:4
I use mount board for wedding table plans, as the surface is very smooth and takes ink well. So this was a nice little bespoke commission to work on.
