Love poem in calligraphy – romantic anniversary gift

This commission was a perfect wedding anniversary gift. My client was looking for something romantic for a paper anniversary so we created a calligraphy commission in beautiful copperplate calligraphy script, with a swirly border in reds and gold.

Wedding anniversary poem – Us Two

This was a lovely piece to write, and the first time I’ve been asked for Us Two by A. A. Milne to be written in calligraphy.

This was an anniversary gift for Rachel, and I added her name into the border illustration for an extra personal touch.

The lilies and butterflies were a continuation of the wedding theme, and this poem was a favourite wedding reading on the day.

Dan commissioned this calligraphy poem for his first wedding anniversary. The romantic illustration was Dan’s own idea: he and his wife spend a lot of time on the coast in Cornwall with their campervan – and we wanted to capture their lifestyle in the illustration!
