This is one of my very favourite wedding readings, an extract from The Velveteen Rabbit. Although it’s a children’s storybook, the sentiment is very touching and the reading has much wisdom to it!

This commission was handwritten as a first wedding anniversary gift. It’s in simple italic calligraphy, black ink, with a small illustration of lavender sprigs to finish the design and add just a touch of colour.
