This commission was instantly a favourite for me: beautiful song lyrics, strong gothic calligraphy lettering and dainty, pretty forget-me-nots in the border!

I had a study of some real forget-me-nots sat on the desk next to me as I worked – it was just coming to the end of the forget-me-not season when I came to write this poem.
